Banca Transilvania maintains its third-place standing in the ranking of the most valuable Romanian brands, with a substantial surge of 34% compared to the previous year, reaching €856 million, according to Brand Finance Romania 50 2025.
Banca Transilvania scored a maximum score, for the sixth consecutive year, in The Romanian Investor Relations Association (ARIR) assessment regarding the communication of the companies listed on the Regulated Market.
Vektor is the first investor communication indicator for listed companies and is calculated based on a methodology that includes 10 criteria, in line with the best international practices.
Three social involvement projects supported by BT have received recognition from Community Index, the most comprehensive annual rating of community investment projects. Via Transilvanica: The Road That Unites and Caravan of Good Deeds initiatives received Gold Recognition, while the I'm OK! project was ranked in the Silver Recognition category.

Fitch Rating upgraded Banca Transilvania's Long-Term Issuer Default Rating from "BB+" to "BBB-". Starting with December 2024 the outlook has been revised to negative.
The new investment grade rating reflects the improved operating environment for banks in Romania, now rated "bbb-", as well as Banca Transilvania's solid position in the Romanian banking system.

Moody's affirms its investment grade credit rating on Banca Transilvania for its robust capital, strong and resilient profitability and significant liquidity.
It also upgrades, following the latest assessment, the outlook on the long-term deposit rating (Baa2) and the issuer rating (Baa3) from stable to positive.
Banca Transilvania obtained a rating of 79/100 (A-) granted by Refinitiv, a London Stock Exchange Group company, for the ESG performance. The rating also indicates a high degree of transparency in reporting sustainability aspects.
BT is ranked 73rd out of 1,138 banks rated by Refinitiv worldwide.
Banca Transilvania awarded on ESG rating of 3.3, following the FTSE Russell assessment. The ESG Index is the result of an assessment based on three pillars: environmental, social and governance, using more than 300 indicators that analyse the bank’s exposure and how BT addresses the ESG area topics.
According to Sustainalytics' assessment, we scored 14.9 points, placing us in the Low Risk category, which means that the company's value is at low risk of being significantly financially impacted by ESG factors.
Banca Transilvania has received Most GHG Mitigated recognition in Central Europe, by International Finance Corporation (IFC), for its contribution to reducing the impact of greenhouse gas emissions by providing green finance to companies in Romania.
The bank's 2022 Sustainability Report received Gold Level Recognition following the Romania CST Index assessment, the only ranking for performance and transparency from a corporate sustainability perspective in Romania, calculated by The Azores Sustainability & CSR Services.

The research, part of the world's most comprehensive independent employer brand study, surveyed over 4,000 employees from 150 companies in Romania. The results further confirm Banca Transilvania's recognition as the most attractive employer in the sector.
