Fitch re-confirms the BT rating
Fitch Ratings re-confirmed the rating of Banca Transilvania for long-term financing (IDR) at "BB+", with a stable outlook, as well as the viability rating (VR) at "bb +" level. Details on Fitch Ratings.
First bank from Romania with ISO9001:2015 certification
This certification confirms the quality of the payment cards through POS and eCommerce activities standards.
The certification body is SGS Romania, part of SGS group, world leader in the field of inspection, verification, testing and certification.
Maximum score of the Vektor Index regarding the communication with investors
Banca Transilvania received a maximum score, for the third year in a row, on the assessment carried out by the Association for Investor Relations with the Romanian Stock Exchange, regarding the communication of the companies listed on the Regulated Market. Vektor is the first index analyzing the communication of the listed companies with investors. Vektor methodology comprises 15 criteria, in line with international best practices in Investor Relations.
Gold Recognition for BT’s social engagement projects
Three social engagement projects supported by Banca Transilvania received Gold Recognition from the Community Index, the most comprehensive annual rating of community investment projects.
Following the analysis of complexity and performance, BT received Gold Recognition in the categories:
BT, an AAA+ brand
The bank registered a 19% increase compared to 2021 (Brand Strength Index) , entering the territory of AAA+ and placing BT in the Top 10 Global Banking in terms of this indicator. The value of Banca Transilvania brand has increased to 460 million USD (from 441 million USD, in 2021), namely on the 302nd place, according to the Brand Finance Banking 500 2022.
ESG Rating by Sustainalytics
Following the ESG assessment, Banca Transilvania was awarded an ESG Risk Rating by Sustainalytics. Thus, with a rating of 17 points, BT falls into the Low Risk category, which means that the company has a low risk of being significantly impacted financially by the ESG factors. The result ranks Banca Transilvania in the top 15% of all companies analysed by Sustainalytics globally.
BT Double recognition for the BT non-financial reporting
The 2020 sustainability report of the bank received the following awards:
- Gold Level Recognition following the CST Index Romania assessment, the only ranking for performance and transparency from the corporate sustainability perspective from Romania, calculated by Azores Sustainability & CSR Services.
- One of the best sustainability reports from Romania (the Association for the Investor Relations at the Bucharest Stock Exchange Gala).
BT received the “Best Place to Work For” certification in Romania.
